Industrial Machine Integration (iMi) is a nationwide provider of certified machinery and systems installation, headquartered in Shelbyville, Kentucky. We serve industrial OEMs and end users with dependable, high-quality installation and service solutions. Our company was founded in 2023 by a team of seasoned professionals through F7 Management Group, LLC, after identifying a growing gap in the market: a shortage of skilled, certified, and reliable installation crews. iMi was created to meet that demand—bringing structure, safety, and professionalism to a field where project timelines and performance expectations are critical.
What We Do
IMI provides turnkey installation and service across three core areas:
Vehicle Wash Systems
Certified installer and service partner for InterClean Equipment (ICE), the leading OEM of heavy-duty vehicle wash systems. We provide full installation, parts, and service support for truck, bus, rail, and car wash facilities nationwide.
Custom Machine & Systems Installation
Specialized installation of industrial and commercial machinery for OEMs and end users. Our crews are trained to deliver accurate, efficient installs that reduce downtime and ensure operational readiness.
MEP and Rigging Services
Regional growth into mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), as well as crane, lifting, and rigging solutions to support complex machinery handling and facility modifications.
A Legacy of Trades Excellence
IMI is built on a foundation of more than 70 years of skilled trades leadership. The company’s roots trace back four generations to the founding of Frederick Lumber Co., Inc. in Jeffersonville, Indiana in 1951. That company launched a family tradition of entrepreneurship in construction and industrial services, which expanded through the decades across roofing, sheet metal, millwork, irrigation, and plumbing.
Today, IMI continues that legacy, led by third- and fourth-generation members of the Frederick family. It’s a history that has shaped our values—work hard, do it right the first time, and deliver on your word—and continues to influence how we operate every day.
